Are Online Poker Sites Fair Or Rigged?

The online poker sites would have you believe that their software is fair for all players. In fact many of the online poker sites are required to submit their software for rigorous testing to prove it is a fair game for all players. However, is the software really fair? On the other hand, is there something going on in the background that many people never realize?

Many victims of bad beats will scream “this site is rigged” while others will counter that the suck outs and bad beats are all a part of poker and it happens even in live games. While that is true, it still begs the question as to whether there is more to the online poker game than meets the eye.

In a recent study conducted by a popular poker player, the results were quite interesting. The testing was done on a large group of experienced players and the results were quite shocking.

The bottom line is that the overwhelming percentage of bad beats is a result of the fact that less than 1% of players make money in a long term. Less than 1% of players earn over $30,000.

The top 4 poker sites made more money from the hands that they dealt out than they did to the hands that they dealt out, which is a tremendous advantage.

The top 4 poker sites handled the hands that they dealt out differently than how the caller dealt out the cards.

The top 4 poker sites had a slight overall advantage over the callers as they dealt out slightly more hands than the callers while they dealt out about the same number of hands as the callers.

The bottom 4 poker sites dealt out about the same number of hands as the callers, however, they dealt out slightly more hands than the callers.

The thing is that the bad beats happen to all of the players, and there is not much you can do about it. However, the good beats are easily apparent when you are studying the way the sites handle the hands. This would explain why the top 4 poker sites have such a huge advantage over other sites.

I have spent many hours researching and going to the extra effort to prove my point by examining as much as I can of the different Holdem sites and keeping records of the results. In this article, I examine the results of a single table Sit n Go Tournament to highlight the success of certain poker sites and software in helping players win at online.

Sit N Go poker tournaments

Nearly every poker player will be familiar with the sit and go poker tournament. These are fast-paced single table tournaments that are the preferred tournament format due to the rapidly changing environment that the players are put in. These types of tournaments are often chosen at the final stages of a poker tournament as being the best option to have a winning show down.

The first thing you want to check out is the software being used by the site hosting the tournament. You want to make sure that they use a software program that offers plenty of replay features so that you can re-Monitor the tournament. Also, you want to make sure that the poker software is compatible with the particular software that your opponents are using.

Next, you want to make sure that the lobby is easy to use and that the lobby does not get too large following the decisions of your opponents.

The third aspect that we will discuss here is the poker game offered. When playing in sit and go’s, you might find that you are limited to a few specific types of poker. The casino poker, stud poker, and community poker games all look great, but if you were unable to try out the other games while in the initial stages then you might feel restricted. Certain online poker sites allow you to switch between the three offering at will, allowing you to try out all the varieties of poker with no restrictions.

While at this stage, it is also important to take a look at the players who are playing at the table. With only a ten player table, it is likely that one of the players will be eliminated before the game starts. You can then opt to sit in the waiting list, if there are no ready players. Once a player is eliminated, you would then need to find another table to sit at, which is something I thought was pretty cool.

So, if you are ready to try out online poker for a while and build up your skills, and if you want to start off with low stakes before you take the plunge with a lot of dough, then you should look into Sit and Go online poker tournaments.
